Our story
From college roommates to Doctors of Physical Therapy in Franklin, Tennessee.
Two friends and one idea: a physical therapy clinic inside a gym
Brian Kaufmann and Nathan Stiffler met in the freshman dorms at Marshall University in 2010. They worked out together, pushed each other, and talked late into the night about opening a place that blends clinical expertise with performance training, so people could recover from injury and also build long-term strength and resilience.

How Elevate615 came to be
A new vision takes shape
Four years later, Brian and Nathan were studying for their doctorates in physical therapy at West Virginia University. Their dream had grown into a physical therapy clinic inside a gym, and they had been roommates for nearly seven years.
Different paths, same dream
After graduating as Doctors of Physical Therapy, they chose separate paths to gain experience. Brian moved to Franklin and pursued advanced education in orthopedics. Nathan worked as a travel physical therapist across the country. The dream of a gym with a physical therapy clinic never faded.
Elevate615 is born
Brian found an 800-square-foot space in Franklin and sent Nathan pictures. Together they decided to create Elevate615 Physical Therapy, and Nathan sold his home in North Carolina and moved to the Nashville area.
Growing in Cool Springs
Elevate615 now works from a 2,500-square-foot facility in Cool Springs, Franklin, serving Williamson County and the 615 area with one-on-one physical therapy, performance training and longevity-focused care.
Inspiring a community of wellness
Their passion for inspiring a community of wellness shows from the moment you step into the clinic. The energy, dedication and care Brian and Nathan bring to every patient reflect the friendship and shared purpose that started it all.
They would love for you to join them on the next chapter of their story.
