Deep Tissue Laser Therapy
Deep tissue laser therapy uses focused light energy from a high-power laser to reach muscle and joint tissue, and it may help reduce pain and inflammation and support your body’s own healing. Elevate615 brought a Class IV laser to Franklin in May 2026, and uses it inside one-on-one physical therapy, with sessions of about five to ten minutes per area.
What therapeutic laser does in the tissue
In plain words, light energy goes into the cells of the sore area, and the cells use it. That may help reduce inflammation, ease pain and bring more blood flow to the spot, which supports tissue repair. A high-power laser reaches deeper than the small light panels you may have seen in wellness segments.
At Elevate615 the laser is never the whole plan. It is added to movement work, strength training and hands-on treatment, so you restore function as well as comfort.

What a laser session is like
Assessment
Your therapist reviews your movement, your pain and your goals to decide whether laser fits your plan.
Treatment
The laser is passed over the sore area for about five to ten minutes, depending on the area. Most people feel a soothing warmth, with little or no discomfort, and there is no downtime.
Progression
Your therapist pairs the laser with strengthening, mobility or functional work to build on it over time.
What laser therapy for pain is used for
These are the problems our therapists use it on. Plantar fasciitis and arthritis are two of the most common.
How many sessions, safety and cost
For a recent injury, three to five sessions is a common plan. For a long-lasting problem, six to ten sessions are often recommended. Your therapist sets the number from how you respond, and frequency depends on your condition and goals.
Laser therapy is used on sore tissue, not over the eyes, over a tumor or over a pregnant abdomen, and everyone in the room wears protective eyewear. Your therapist reviews your health history first. Ask the clinic about cost and what your plan covers; our insurance page is a good start.
